EUROPEAN RAPID AND BLITZ CLUB CUP CANCELED

Organizers of the European Rapid and Blitz Club Cup, the Tinerii Maestri Chess Club and the Romanian Chess Federation, have decided that, because of the lack of interest showed by European chess clubs in this new continental competition, they will cancel the 2012 edition which was supposed to be held in Bucharest, Romania from 08-12 August, 2012.
